Tilde Mouw is a San Francisco-based singer/songwriter. Her acoustic indie-rock, paired with thought-provoking lyrics evokes the influence of Phoebe Bridgers, Kimya Dawson, and Neko Case. Her songs often tell a story, drawing audiences in with humor and irony, as she paints a picture with her playful voice.
Her 2019 EP, Dogwood Blooms, highlights the dark wit in her lyrics. It showcases the classic acoustic sound of her voice and guitar.
Trained in classical guitar, Tilde Mouw began performing in the Minneapolis music scene in the early 2000s at Twin Cities Underground youth concert venue. She has composed the music and libretto for a darkly humorous opera, Love and a Lion, and a musical No Catharsis. She is currently working on her third album.
